CCK Experience

Posted in Cemetery, Chua Chu Kang, Spooky on April 24, 2008 by hungzaibackup

What I was about to tell you is base on my true experience. Last time I used to see “things” such as ghost. Maybe spirit(better word) but not anymore.

It all started after I watched movie with my sister at Lot 1 at about 11pm. As we were walking, my sister wanted to go to the toilet and decided to take a short cut on the way back to my aunty house. While walking, we start to sing happily but halfway when we was about to walk pass a car park(short cut way), I suddenly feel cold and my hair on my neck seems to be standing up. When that strange feeling came, I started to sing softer and softer. I was quiet a long time when I finally can’t bare any longer and ask my sister whether she feel the same way. She told me that she too felt as if someone was following us all along and we started to pray hard. My sister decided to wait a while under my aunty’s block just to let the “thing” gone.

As we were waiting, we pray and suddenly we heard a trolley coming out from the lift, without any longer, my sister quickly run into the next lift as it suddenly open and my sister really need to go to the toilet. When we reached at the 7th floor, my sister saw that my aunty’s door was open widely while she just dashed inside and went to the toilet leaving me behind as I walk abit slower. I was walking towards the door when I turn and saw a white figure trying to climb up the stairs and I straight away run inside.

I saw my aunty and asked her, who did not lock the door and she told me that it was my grandma. I told her everything and she asked me to close the door but I was scared. She told me that it was my grandma who push the trolley because she want to take old news paper to sell it. Thats not my first time saw “things” in CCK(my aunt place) but alot of times especially at the carpark when walking in the night and at the playground nearby.

By the way, thanks to god as I can’t see “things” anymore after drinking some prayed water.

So to readers who read this especially living at CCK, just be carefull during the night as maybe it was near the CCK cemetry.

Kranji War Memorial (II)

Posted in Cemetery, Spooky on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Hello everyone… I am not sure if I should continue with my story… after the first one. After all, I am still trying to forget the incident. – Please refer to Kranji War Memorial (I)

Anyway, as not to disappoint you… I will tell you about the second incident that happened during my visit to the Memorial.

Only God knows why I went there again… But one thing for sure, the second time around, I brought my boyfriend, Ben, with me. We planned to take pictures for fun sake… and they were going to be in black and white… It would somehow make the pictures more gothic.

Upon reaching the gates of the Memorial, once again, I was overcame with fear. But I just continued because we had already wasted our money on the film. It was quiet as usual.. and the sky was grey. I showed him the places and the many sites that I had seen and the grave of the young Malay soldier… Nothing happened in the beginning but gradually it began to show.

While Ben and I were walking among the Christian graves, I went down a little further to take a picture of him. He made such a pretty picture among the tombstones, I didn’t want to miss this chance. So I called out to him to walk my way. But he didn’t respond. He kept walking and looking… I tried again… still no response. When he was just a few metres away from me, I called out loudly at him this time, and he was behaving like as though I wasn’t there… Like a person hypnotised! Fear grew in me that I kept calling and calling until finally, I went up to him and shook his arm. I asked him why he didn’t respond when I called and he said that he DID NOT HEAR a thing!!! I was shocked. How could it be?

We walked around as usual and took pictures of ourselves in the Memorial. We did not think there was any harm and the sky was getting to be very dark. And that’s when I saw it…

While I was trying to take a picture of him on one of the concrete monuments, I happened to turn around and there, I saw a figure of a young woman in white gliding past straight behind the small monument. Her hair was long and she acted like a little child who played hide-and-seek. My face turned completely white as I did not expect to see anything like that there.. but I saw her.

That very instant, I told my boyfriend that we should leave as I felt very uneasy..

We left.

When the pictures were developed, much to our horror, in one of the pictures, we saw what was believed to be a young Caucasian or Malay soldier resting on a tombstone, staring at us…

Dear Editor, I hope you enjoy your nite out there… I was told, it is even scarier still…

Kranji War Memorial

Posted in Cemetery, Spooky, Strange Incident on April 22, 2008 by hungzaibackup

This incident happened NOT ONLY ONCE but twice during my short visits to the Memorial Park. I didn’t understand what got into me that I kept wanting to visit the Memorial. I guessed I had been influenced by “Saving Private Ryan” movie too much.

The first time that I went to the Memorial, from a distant I saw a policeman waiting by the gates and it was almost 6pm. We Muslims believed that that was NOT a good time to visit cemeteries, but I went anywhere. I went there alone with my only my EGO and so-called bravery as my companions. I knew it was CURIOUSITY that got the best of me. However, as I entered the Gates, there was not a single person found. The Memorial was very quiet and trust me, it IS a very peaceful place. The gentle breeze blew into your face and for a moment, I thought I had liked it there. SO I walked around and looked at each tombstones. Just knowing that they had died young made me shed a tear. Nothing happened of course and I really quite liked being alone.

Then it happened… As I was in the Muslim Graveyard Section, I swore there was a lady following me from behind. But she was nothing scary of that sort. From the corner of my eyes, she looked just like any other visitor to the Memorial. I thought some people came so I didn’t react or say anything. But as I turned around to look at her, I realised there was no one there and that I was still very much ALONE!! That was when I knew my stay was overdue and I had to leave. I started to feel very uneasy. So before I left, I decided to sit on one of the marble benched near the Memorial slabs for awhile.

This time, I could have sworn I felt ‘an unearthly presence’stood beside me and my hair stood on its end!!! I started to feel a little edgy, yet again I would not move.

It happened again… There was a loud THUD! sound coming from behind the Memorial slab, like someone stepped on the metal sewerage cover. The sound was so loud that I turned around to see what it was. BUT THERE WAS NO ONE THERE!! I thought it was probably the sound of the construction works nearby, BUT who was I kidding?! There wasn’t ANY construction works taking place.. And this time, it happened much LOUDER.

THUD! That was when I was sure it came from BEHIND ME and INSIDE the cemetery that my face turned white. All of a sudden, there was a voice that kept telling me to leave that very instant and so with only my two legs, I walked out as fast as I could. Not even turning around to see who could have been behind me.

When I had walked out of the gate, I still felt fear and I prayed to God that I would walk out of there safely. As I almost reached the bus-stop, I turned around for one last look and to my disbelief, I saw a VERY, TALL Caucasion priest looking at me. He was so tall that he was almost as tall as the gate itself. He had blonde hair and was wearing a blue robe with yellow sash around his neck. Shocked, I looked again and he was gone. There was neither nor priest nor any man that I had seen earlier loitering around that Memorial Park.

When I reached home, I was in a state of shock that it took me days to recover.

Headless Pontianak

Posted in Cemetery, HDB, Mild on April 21, 2008 by hungzaibackup

This story begins at my house. Once, there used to be a malay grave before the housing estate was built. It was a Friday night. A night when the malays believe that demons or ghost wander around in search of prey.

I was with my sibling in the house. There were only the two of us. (My parents were away in a stupid vacation!) We were sleeping when it was around 2 a.m. Suddenly were heard a loud tapping and scratching as if someone was forcing to pry the locked window open. My younger sister woke me up and pointed at the window. She said in a low voice,” Sis there is a headless woman dressed in white”. The ghost was holding a head which I think belongs to her. It was so scary. I hold on to my sister tightly and prayed hard so that the ghost (pontianak) would go away. But, however, the ghost said in a low trembling voice,”I need your help. Please help me. I want to find my child. Please help me!”. I closed my eyes tightly. My sister started to cry.

Suddenly a hand shook my body. I was so scared that I shouted. The next thing that I knew is that I was surrounded by my parents. I told them about what had happened. They didn’t believe it as first but when I show them the scratch they finally believe it. It was a really unbelievable when suddenly my mother change into a dog and bite me. My father change into a cat and scatch me. So i run away and now i am still in my room.

The Unknown Hidden Message

Posted in Cemetery, Spooky on April 21, 2008 by hungzaibackup

It was 1815hrs in early 1996. The location Choa Chu Kang Muslim Cemetery – Pusara Aman 1. Though I realised that it was quite late to be there, my main priority was to pay respects to my deceased grandparents and close friend. The place was gloomy as I stepped out of Service 172 and walked into the cemetery. The stonemasons have already started packing up, enough for the day’s engraving of tombstones. I reached my grandmother’s deathbed and started reciting some prayers for her while cleaning up the weeds off the burial ground. I left 10 minutes later and walked deeper into the cemetery grounds 5 minutes away to visit my deceased grandfather and close friend. I paid my respects and recited prayers from them. By then it was already 1845hrs. The sun was setting into the horizon. Not a soul around and the dusk makes the eerie glow from the tombstones outstanding in the setting sun rays. Perfect for a photograph! Usually it would take approximately of 15 minutes of brisk walking from there to the 1st Cemetery bus-stop.

I did not reach the mainroad until 2000 hrs – a full 1 hour and 15 minutes of unprepared journey. As I walked down Cemetery Path 12, I was drifted by the sorrowful sight of the tombstones, wondering when my time will come. I came to a a big tombstone engraved Pak Zubir Said – the composer of Majulah Singapura (the country’s national anthem) who passes away in 1987. I did not realise that I had ventured away from my usual path deeper into the cemetery grounds. Soon I saw tombstones everywhere, the path had gradually disappeared from sight. I tried to find my way back but to no avail. There were no streetlamps in the cemetery (Who needs streetlamps anyway?) I had to grope my way around tripping over small drains. My eyes seem to look into the direction of a tombstone. The date 27th November 1983….the birthdate of my younger sibling! I walked on to stumble on 5 minutes away – the tombstone bearing the date of another younger sibling – February 19th 1978. Further on I found June 19th 1977…the birthdate of my girlfriend! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?

I’M NOT PREPARED FOR ALL THESE! I walked on, trying to find my way out of the various tombstones. I found my way to Muslim Cemetery Path 3. There’s when I saw 10th September 1974 on a tombstone! MY BIRTHDATE! I AM SEEING SOMEONE WHO DIED ON THE DAY I WAS BORN! It was an old tombstone with years of aging engraved stone. Then I saw lights further up. It was the lights from the Cemetery Mosque. I walked briskly to the mosque and performed my prayers. It was already 2000hrs by then. No one was around. I took my ablution and performed my evening prayers. As I looked on I saw the eerie glow form on the tombstones in the background as a WARNING of this UNFORGETTABLE JOURNEY! THERE SEEMED TO BE A HIDDEN MESSAGE SOMEWHERE WITHIN. WHAT WAS IT?………

A Grave Digger

Posted in Cemetery, Spooky on April 21, 2008 by hungzaibackup

I am going to share a story with you which i heard personally from my retired uncle who used be a grave digger at muslim cemetery….. ….but try reading this story alone at midnight…

My uncle used to work at the muslim cemetery by digging holes during his prime years…He is a tall and big fellow but he does not has any proper education, which, as a result made him end up with such a vocation….”it is the most peaceful and non-stressful job”, he said. However he added that the beginning was very ‘tough ‘ and it takes a strong, brave and clean pure heart with a lot of faith to endure the initial stages…..

When he started the job about 40 yrs ago, he had to dig about 10 holes per day on average under closed supervision and sometimes there were more holes needed to be be dug, depending on the death rates…

Then there was this ‘memorable’ night where, he had to work ‘overtime’ due to unfinish digging…there were a few diggers working that night, but they are not working at close proximity to each other…the diggers actually prefer to work in the grave yard shift as it was cooler at night and the soil are softer to be dig, they claimed theoretically…

As an ‘apprentice’ my uncle was accompanied by his supervisor for the initial weeks which subsequently he will be left alone to dig independently …His supervisor also cautined him many times, on a few things such as….do not utter a single word if “he see, hear, smelled or felt something unpleasant” but recite the quran instead or say the prayers ….my uncle wondered how disastrous could the situation be….

Then the moment came……he was digging the hole when he heard voices from the “filled” graves beside the empty ones about a few metres away from the place he is stationed…he ignored it remembering his superior’s warning….then he heard it again and again. He kept on hearing voices till he felt so curious to check it out…some of the voices he heard are very sorrowful and mournful ones while some are screaming in pain..my uncle recited his prayers quietly in his heart and kept digging…

Then when he took a momentary rest after digging two holes, he turned his faced back towards the plot of land which was already been occupied…then he saw with his own eyes something that he has never imagined before in his life…..a few human figures in loose clothing, gliding from a tomb stone to another, some are sitting crying sorrowfully while some seemed to be standing without a single movement staring at my uncle….my uncle rub his eyes again to confirm as it was quite misty that night….then my uncle’s leg start to tremble and shake …then suddenly his supervisor touches his shoulder and signalled to him to ignored those things and to keep digging…..

Then this time it was worst….while he was digging the third hole, something flew into the first empty hole that was dug by my uncle… a woman voice was then heard in that hole…my uncle does not dare to look inside that hole… but he and his supervisor heard that woman voice clearly , crying and asking for help wanting to be release from the misery and pain that she faced. …then my uncle’s supervisor quickly ask my uncle to leave that place and to dig at another area for the time being…….

I think i better stop my story here as my imagination starts to get over me and my family are already sleeping at this moment….

My experience

Posted in Cemetery, Mild, Punggol with tags on April 21, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Actually before i tell u any true stories of mine there is an important point i have to make. The story about Punggol Beach is real because I myself went there fishing with my friends in the afternoon and it feels spooky even then. Like your club, my friends and i too like to explore such “things” . Here is a reccomendation for your team.

Once my friends and i explore an old deserted church just next to the Woodbridge hospital. On the inside there were nothing except for burn marks. Surprisingly there is some kind of red cloth hanging along the corridor. My suspicion suggest that there might be an occult group(satanism) using the place as their hideout. Your team should really check out the place and take some pictures of it. It is really one hell of a spooky place to be in. Anyway ,the story about sounds of hell is hard to believe but it is true. My distant uncle was an undertaker a few years back and once told me about his encounter when he was digging a new grave. Here it goes………..

One fine day ,he received a call from a Tan family saying that they are booking a space in the graveyard. So my uncle was instructed to dig a new grave. He found a space next to a woman’s grave and dig into it. After reaching 7 feet down he suddenly heard cries of help from the next grave. My uncle ran a marathon after that encounter.

One more thing, according to my sources(my mum,dad and grandparents),Bidadari used to be a place famous for those ladies in white(pontianak). They were spotted there most times. There is a great story for your team. HOw i wished i could be on your team too. Good luck on your adventure to Bidadari.

Ngee Ann Poly Haunted?

Posted in Cemetery, School, Spooky with tags on April 20, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Have you been to Ngee Ann Poly? If you have, i’m sure you would had noticed that it was build on top of a hill. Rumours were going around that it was built on bunkers and certain part of the school was built on cemeteries.

Students in Ngee Ann who needed to stay back late night to finish work, often would hear chain sounds being dragged around the sports hall area.

According to students who had orientations before the start of their school term, the orientators would often advise them not to wander into the toilets of lecture halls between BLK 26 – BLK 33 at night. It was said that the sensors to the lights in the toilet would behave strangely.

Then there was the famous motorbike sound at BLK 73 which always comes on at 12am with no motorbike to be seen. Infact there was a story about Ngee Ann students capturing some entities on videocam while doing some work.

I have known Jenny since my primary school days. Jenny went to Ngee Ann poly and her dad was a lecturer there. She told me that before she started her course, her dad always warn her to avoid the sports hall and swimming pool area as many strange incidents had happened there before as it was built on cemeteries. I wonder why schools are always built on cemeteries? Or is it stories that were meant to make students more obedient? What do you think?

Do You Believe?

Posted in Cemetery, Spiritual, Spooky with tags on April 20, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Are you a believer or a non-believer of the supernatural? Do you dare to go to a cemetery and walk around graves alone? Do you find your guts wanting for such an experience? If you do not believe, then what are you afraid of?

Ok, maybe you would say there are no ghost but still there are animals like snakes and monkeys around so it is still not safe. Or some people think of it as a form of respect for the dead eventhough they believe they do not exist in any form anymore.

Personally I am a non-religious person but i am still very curious about supernatural stuff. If you were to ask me to stay overnight at a cemetery alone I wouldn’t dare not because i am timid but i am 50-50 about their existence and their ability to harm. But if you talk to an army person who needs to camp at the tombstones at various cemeteries, they will tell you what is there to feel scare? But then again, it could be all in the mind as when they are in the cemetery as a soldier, their target is probably the enemies and not ghost. Morever they are usually with a group of soldiers and also they are armed with weapons and the “crest” of the beret i suppose will help too. So i guess the “mission” is different for them and for others who specifically goes there to get some cheap thrills.

So do you dare to spend a night alone at a cemetery? Does your courage determine what you believes? Even if you do not believe, what is stopping you from testing out your beliefs?

Selling Salt

Posted in Cemetery, Nightmare, Strange Incident with tags , on April 19, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Have you ever imagined ghost eating salt? Well there were tales of people trying to make quick bucks by selling salt to spirits in cemetery at night.

But to walk out alive, there are a 2 rules though. First you must never look up to see them. Second you must not run out of the cemetery before dawn break. It is believed that if you can observe this 2 rules, then the hell notes they will pay you for salt will turn into real money by day break.

I personally have never come across anybody who tried it but while doing mission training in cemetery during my army days, i have seen people going to some muslim cemetery at 3am. I can’t be sure what he is up to though.

Anyway for those who are interested, this is the correct procedure i heard. Go to a cemetery wearing a jacket with a hood, bring a lot of mahjong paper to spread over the floor and not forgetting the salt wrapped in packets. Soon hands will appear in front of your face asking for salt. You pass it to them and they will give you money. At this point , never look up. When the sun rises, pack up your things and leave and never look back.

Now the question is why does ghost need so much salt? Well according to experts, spirits need salt in order for them to look better after they died because their body will rot so salt will help them to maintain their personal hygiene just like we need water to clean up.

Another important thing is that your salt must never run out. So get a few baskets if possible and sit there do nothing but look at it no matter what happen you can only look at the basket.

According to sources, each hell note they gave you will turn into $50 and you have to spend it within a week. Good luck!
