Old Changi Hospital Trip

Posted in Changi, Extra Mild, Hospital on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

day was my best’s friend’s bday, we have a wild day at KTV at Outram Park. I don’t quite remember what bus we took to go to the Old Changi Hospital. By that time was night time already. One of the boys(8 boys & 2 girls)suggest to go to the old changi hospital as a “visit”.

At first my best friend & me disagreed with it cause we think it it not right to disturb the “things” there but they say we are chicken so we have to put up with it & go with them. The stairs seem endless by the time we reached the entrance we are breathless. 4 boys in front of us and 4 boys behind of us as a kind of protection. It sound kinda of stupid. Anyway when we go in, we saw a satan sign on the floor which maybe is people drew one. Things kinda of turn weird…air are so cold all of the sudden, i kinda of scared already but no choice that we are up already. Then i start to hear people cry, sound very spooky kind. By that time, i am very scare already but i don’t tell my friends until we are going down. One of the boys(his family are mediums) also look weird cause i think he heard what i heard. I told the boys to go down first as i got something to tell them. At first, they were angry with me that they have to go down again but when they saw my look they knew something was wrong so they went down.

We reached down already i told them not to go up anymore cause i told them what i heard. At first, they don’t believe me. Then one of the boys i mention above say that what i say is true. He heard that too. They ignore what i say and went up again leaving me and my best friend at the Old bus-stop(no more in service). The boys say if anything wrong just call them, all of them carry handphones.

They went up already, things start to go wrong again. We were at the bus stop waiting for them. Behind us was a camp but no one lived or were there. My best friend and me were so scared, all the sudden we heard a laughing sound so loud that even deaf people also can hear it sound like a woman sound. We start to panic but we must act like nothing happen cause we scare that thing will come for us. I had a handphone so i call my friends but none of them picked up the phone. We can’t do anything but to be calm.

About 15 minutes later, the boys came down. We asked them to go home and on the way, we got things to tell them. As we were all in the bus already, we started to scold the boys why they never picked up the phone. They reply us say that none of their handphones rang at all. Both of me and my best friends were shocked. We told them what we heard. By then, we were all so scared that i swear i will not go there again.

Jasmine Flower

Posted in Hospital, Spooky on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

I am working as a nurse in one of the restructured hospital. It happened few days back. It was about 10 at night. My pregnant friend asked me to accompany her in the toilet because she need to change. So I stayed inside our locker room while she’s changing in the toilet cubicle.

Suddenly, my friend shouted at me, pleading with me not to leave her alone in there. I told her that I wanted to wait for her outside because the toilet is stuffy. Her voice trembled and I’m kind of worry for her. So I waited for her to come out from the toilet.

Once out, my friend grabbed my hand and quickly leave the place. I asked her what’s wrong and she told me that she had smell the scent of jasmine flower strongly in our toilet cubicle. She can felt the presence of someone was with her in the toilet cubicle. After she relates the story to me, I felt frightened and also puzzled. I don’t really believe in her until I smell the jasmine flower during my night shift.

Until now, I can still feel her presence sometimes in our staff toilet.

The Very Old Hospital

This story is about the very old Changi Hospital at loyang, and the story begin like this,…

I am a skateboarder who likes to play skateboard, so when i hear about this very old Changi Hospital, i was interested to go with my friends and would like to skate at there to find more interesting things to do with. All my friends included me got FIVE persons only going there.

So when we reach there, we first go to the old Changi hospital and we were so frightened. The strange things was that, when we go in, we still smell the MEDICINE and my friends and i felt the AIR-CONDITION but we just kept quiet. So when we go in further, we saw that one room was cross with a red and white band so we just ignore it.

My friends asked me to go to the roof to see “GRAFITI” so we decided to use the lift and i can’t believe that the lift were still working. So we press the last floor and press the close button, and suddenly……when the door is closing, the red and white band flew infront of us and we all shouted. After we reach the last floor, we just kept quiet.

When we reach the roof, one of the ward’s door open and close when we turn behind the door just stopped. We just kept quiet. But when we saw the Grafiti, it was so colourful. After one hour we came down by using the staircase. As we going down it felt cold again. When we reach the first floor, the red and white band had been pull off and the door was open. And we try to peep inside and we saw…………a lady was sitting on a wheelchair and she was facing the window. And we all kept quiet and just walk off.

when i just want to go to the entrance and i was not purposely turned behind and i saw the lady with the wheelchair following us from behind and i just kept quiet, and i kept to myself and not to tell my other friends and i swear to god that i won’t go to that very old hospital again.

It was a saturday night when it happen. My parents was aboard so i decided to have some fun……..who know it was no fun at ALL.

I call my friends and ask them to meet at my house at 10 pm, after that we each took a bicycle and cycle our way to “OCH”. I don’t know if it is fate that we must come at 12 am…..and we actually arrived at 12 am(almost reaching twelve) We park our bike and went in……It was our first visit to there so we are not sure of the routes to take…..We ended up at the front of an unknown room…..So we open it up and guess what…..There is nothing but two beds….At first, i don’t felt anything wierd until one of my friend actually sit on the bed, then i felt something…..Something is watching over us…….among all my friends, i was the only one that can sense things fast so i urged my friend to get off the bed and i manange to bring them out of the room and slowly out the place…..Nothing happen to anyone of us but when we were about to leave the place…i had the feeling again. This time most of us felt it so we dashed out of the place and never look back.

Handphone Ghost

Posted in Extra Mild, Hospital on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

This incident happened when a group of friends and I decided to check out the ol’ Changi hospital. When we reached there, i decided to turn off my handphone for who knows what reason..Well i did and after about an hour’s worth of unsuccesful exploring, we decided to leave.

It was already around 11:30 at night then, we took the bus and ended up relaxing at Tampines Central Park. I turned on my handphone again and there was 1 new voice message. I acessed my mailbox wondering who was the one who had left me a voice message. What i heard on the message really freaked me out.. It was a lady speaking in a very raspy voice in malay “You get out of here now..don’t disturb me!” and in the background was the sound of a baby crying. I checked the time the message was sent and it was 11:10pm..about the same time we passed by the maternity wards!!

Pretty weird…but i guess if you want to try it out for yourself you could…just sign up for the outing..and turn off your handphones!!

Pontianak at TTSH

Posted in Hospital, Mild on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

This was told to me by my 3 brothers who witnessed the incident. Our late father was admitted to Tan Tong Seng Hospital last year in Aug 01. It was at night that he was admitted. All left the hospital at 11.30 pm. As there was not a cab seen entering the taxistand, they decided to take a walk to the main road. There was alot of trees along the main road (Moulmein Rd?) outside Tan Tong Seng Hospital.

As they were waiting for a cab to come by…one of my brothers suddenly saw a pontianak seated on the branch on one of the trees behind them. He was so shocked and speechless. He looked at the other brother next to him and gave him eye contact. My other brother also looked up and he stared blankly at the pontianak. The other brother wondering what happened looked too by which time the pontianak was already hopping to another part of the branch. This brother is brave and told the other two to give chase as the pontianak was hopping from one tree to another. The other two brothers instead ran as fast as they could from there and never turned back. My brother also joined them and they didn’t utter a word about it until the next day.

They told my mum about it..and soon all of us know about it. When I asked my brothers..only one of them is willing to narrate it…the others are too scared to talk about it. Even now when I asked my other brothers…they refused to talk about it…scared stiff I guess!

Old Changi Hospital

Posted in Changi, Hospital, Mild on April 23, 2008 by hungzaibackup

It was a saturday evening, 4 of my friends and i were walking pass the old changi hospital. I remembered it was about 7.10pm when the muslims believe that from 7 to about 7.30p.m, the muslims were encourage not to go out from their house or stay in a shelter. This was beacuse, the devil will disturb as it is the praying time for the mislims, that is called, “maghrib”. That day, one of my classmates have booked a chalet and my friends and i decided to go for a walk, to take some fresh air.

As we were chit chatting and making so much noise, as we are having fun, we don’t realised that we are going to pass by the old changi hospital. At first, my friend, S (a first alphabet of my friend’s name) told us not to pass it as it will be very eerie because the hospital is old. But most of us dare to pass by it, because we tought, just to pass by it, will not harm us!!! Since majority wins, we decided to just walk pass it and ignore the building. We were singing loudly the children’s song, that is baa baa black sheep, because we had nothing much to do to make our feeling bored gone.

Soon after singing it, all of us seems tired and just remains silence for a while. Suddenly, we heard a girl’s voice, a very sweet one, singing the song we just sang! We look at each other, thought that each of us were making making fun of us. But when i look at each and one of them(my friends), they seems so shocked. But what makes us shiver, is when we turn around looking at the staircase, and saw, a little girl, wearing white gown with blood spots, carrying a cute teddy bear, walking down the stairs towards us. And there goes the song, coming from her mouth. We were all so frightened as we ran like mad dogs, to the chalet and told the rest of my friends in the chalet.

My friend’s mother told us that rumors spread, that there was once a girl, died from falling from the staircase after she visited her ill mother at old changi hospital. The incident happened after her father had commited suicide.

I first don’t believe what i saw, maybe it is my imaginations. But, it could be real as many of the travellers saw it before.

Haunted Hospital Bed

Posted in Hospital, Mild on April 22, 2008 by hungzaibackup

This is a real life experience about the hospital bed I slept in SGH hospital. I had a minor operation and therefore I have to come to the hospital to stay and put me under observation to make sure everything go smoothly in the operation. I was sent to block 3, ward 33. I had to share the room with the other 5 patients.

On my first night, I felt someone kept pinching me until dusk, the next day. Besides pinching me, I also heard someone kept calling my name in a low voice. I thought someone was disturbing me and I went to check but to no avail.

The next day, my dad went to visit me and I told him the things I had encountered the last night when I was sleeping. After listening my story, he laughed loudly and call me a fool. Suddenly, a nurse happened to serve me breakfast, heard my story and told my father that it was the truth. The nurse told me that a patient had died in her sleep, about 3 years ago and that many patients who had slept on the same bed had also encountered strange happenings. I was so shocked that my face went pale. My father immediately told the nurse to change the bed.

Until now, I still cannot forget that awlful experience.

Hospital Bed

Posted in Hospital, Strange Incident on April 22, 2008 by hungzaibackup

Some time back, I was injured while playing soccer and my hamstring practically torn apart. Thus, I was admitted to a hospital.

In my ward, there are 6 beds, 3 in each of the 2 rows. I was in one of the bed in the middle, thus there are a bed in each of my sides. One on the left, was empty and the other was this caucasian man.

In the first night, i remembered i slept at around 10pm, after my girlfriend left. It was about midnight when i suddenly woke up, and i suddenly noticed a malay guy my age, lying in the bed that used to be empty. I was quite surprised as i know no one would be admitted to a hospital in the middle of the night, except for emergency cases, and my ward was certainly not meant for emergencies. But for a rationale person like me, i didn’t think of any supernatural, but instead i thought that maybe he wasn’t satisfied in the bed he was in before and want to transfer to this bed. I thought to myself, “Finally in a ward of old men, i finally got someone to chat with tomorrow”, since he was my age and race. So i went back to sleep, feeling happy.

The next morning, i found out that the bed was empty! I asked a nurse where and who was the person sleeping next to me yesterday night. And guess what? She said no one! I just couldn’t believe it. The caucasian man next to me, who was quiet all along, said that just a day before i came, a malay guy was in that bed next to mine because of a bike accident, and he died at that very day.

To this day, i don’t know what to make of it. I reassure myself that it was just pure coincidence that i was dreaming aout a malay guy in the bed next to mine. But somehow, it just can’t be………

Nurse

Posted in Hospital, Spooky on April 22, 2008 by hungzaibackup

At the age of nine, I was a frequent asthma patient at the old Tan Tock Seng Hospital. I would know personally each and every nurse or doctor who treated me each time i was admitted.

There was this particular ward which I was usually admitted. Ward 42, 2nd floor of the ward block right at the end situated beside a garden. As it was a children’s ward, there was only one toilet and it had to be locked to prevent any future floods from burst pipes due to us rascals in the ward. So if any of us would like to take a visit there, we would have to go to the nurses’ station at the entrance of the ward for the toilet key. A nurse would chaperone us to lock up the toilet after we’re done with our ‘businesses’.

There was this particular night when I could no longer withstand the call of nature. Well, I just took the toilet key from its keybox without the nurses’ permission because there was no nurses around at the station.

As I was struggling with the key to open the toilet door, I felt that there was someone behind me. I turned around and there was this nurse whom I never met before. She looked exceptionally radiant. She asked me,”Do you need any help with that?” I just handed her the key hurriedly and she waited till i finished my ‘job’.

Well, she locked up the toilet. That’s normal for me but then, she handed me back the key, telling me to return it. Strange, as she would herself return the key back to its keybox since she’s the nurse. Well, she gave me a smile and opened a door leading to a staircase beside the toilet. As what i know of, that door was locked, but she opened it anyway. I just when back to sleep after returning the key.

The next day, I told a nurse about yesterday’s incident. Well, till now I couldn’t figure out who was the toilet-nurse because she told me she was busy attending to a girl who was just admitted along with her two other colleagues. There could be no other nurse in the ward except for them three.

Well, who was that, that night??
