My Aunt

This story was told by my grandfather who is now 77 years old.

It was in the year 1978, at Andrew Avenue, Sembawang and during that time it still in the kampung days. My aunt was a havoc teenager who always returned late at night. Believe me, she is still a havoc woman now.

My grandfather told me that there was once he saw my aunt talking with someone who doesn’t really exist. It was before dawn at three o’clock in the morning and my aunt returned home. At that time she went home drunken and was hallucinating things.

During that time my grandfather was sleeping and he did not realize that my aunt was still not at home. Then, he heard gibberishing voice outside his house. Without any delay, he opened the window and saw that my aunt was talking to someone. She was sitting on a bench which he had made with that ’someone’. That ’someone’ was all black beyond recognition. No features can be seen on the face and he couldn’t really tell if that ’someone’ was a person or something else. He decided to leave her alone while she was talking outside.

In the morning after my grandfather had done his morning prayer, he went to look for my aunt and there she was sleeping on the bench. The ’someone’ was not there with her but she was asleep. He went to wake her up and asked her who was the person she was talking to and her reply was that she wasn’t with anybody. My grandfather was puzzled but he knew that she was drunk before that. Untill now my grandfather doesn’t still really know if it was just his imagination or was it real. However, my aunt still interact with that ’someone’ but that was in the kampung days and now no more.

Night Raider

I heard this story from my friend yesterday mid-nite about 3++ am and the atmosphere there was so very eerie as you can image that huge and talls tress surrounding you.. skys was red in colour.. wind was blowing in a very fast speed in the sense of its really really very windy..

I think there already many people heard ghost stories about sembawang park including me myself, but the story that my fren told me yesterday was really new .. to me!!

The story begines like this..

It was the last bus taking off from sembawang park and there’s no more passenger, to the surprise of the bus driver, there’s a very old couple and a small boy boarded the bus, the old couple told the bus driver in hokkien..(we are really cashless and would you mind to give as a hand to help us as its already very late and we can’t get home, so the bus driver asked the couple, “Why are you still here so late at this hour and where you wanna go?” The couple said that their kid which is the small boy came sembawang park and play but dunno how to go home to ask them to come and fetch him home and they are stayin at..’lim chu kang’.. The driver was shocked and don’t know what to say .. He just replied, “Ok, you take a sit and i drive you all there..”

The driver immediately turn off the bus light and dashed in his fastest speed to lim chu kang.. and as what i know, the bus driver really send the old couple and the small boy to lim chu kang and is in front of their tombstone…

I don’t know whether do you all believe in my story or not but as what i know, this story was told by 1 of the bus driver at the sembawang park inter-change……….

Classroom Girl

There goes once there are a gal who failed her exams in A levels, under lots of pressure and scare being scolded by her parents, being a laughing stock in front of her friends…..she hung herself in a 3rd storey classroom. She is a student of yishun junior college or should i say `was` cos she is still patrolling the corridors of the 3rd storey classroom. Female students have seen her appearing in the mirrors of the 3rd storey girls toliets floating in the midair watching them combing their hair…

Me as a guy thought all this stories are craps, how can i show fear in front of the gals so i make a bet with some of my friends saying i will get into the college through the back gate facing the sembawang road at a thursday midnight when holidays and able to stay in college for 2 hours…a daredevil friend volunteered to accompany me in that or maybe because of the bet which is $100 cash…

On that night, the atmosphere is cool cos of a rain at about 10pm making it more eerie but i can’t back out now…At about 12am all of our friends are present waiting outside the college asking me to get it over fast and get into the college. My daredevil friend james soon climbed over the gate into the college then i follow suit. We decided to go to the 3rd storey and hid there passing the time by smoking for 2 hours.

Just after 30 minutes, we smell something fragrant, we look around immediately but saw nothing instead we saw an old man carrying something on the back on the corridors on the 1st storey. Why was there an old man in the college at this time? We take closer look at the thing he is carrying. TO OUR SHOCK, it is a coffin!!!! We wasn’t sure what to do, we are stuck at the 3rd storey!…..

Suddenly, we heard a young girl shouting our names in chinese but we are the ONLY ones in college now and who is that girL~? We hurried to the toliets(we wasn’t sure whether it is a male or female toliets at that time) We are DAMN SHOCKED to see an old woman licking a bloody cotex, the old woman turned her head towards us…The scary thing is she got no facial organs! We shouted for help and ran towards the back gate but fuck up MAN…We saw a girl in college uniform in a 3rd storey classroom walking towards a hoop and hung herself, but she was dead cos she floated to the hooP! We standed to root outside the classroom, our minds are in blank, the girl soon turn her head 180 degrees facing us waving her hands asking us to join her!!!

WHaT FucK, we ran to the back gate, we thought we will be saved after meeting our friends but to our surprise, we saw 5 of our friend instead of 4. So, who is the extra one. ALL of us ran like MAD to the nearest 7 eleven leaving a girl at the back who is laughing in a shriek sound, scaring the wits out of we guys.

THAT IS THE LAST TIME WE GO YJC IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

Kak Pon At Gambas Avenue

Mine is a short REAL account story. It goes like this. My uncle is a taxi driver. He often work overtime(midnight shift) due to financial problems. For more than 3 years of experinece working as a taxi driver, this was his first encountered.

At about 12.30midnight, he was driving along the Gambas Avenue(near Woodlands). As you know, there are many factories nearby, and lots of tress( or small jungle) along that road!

The road was clear at that point of time. He realised he was alone driving along that road and nobody else. Then, ahead of him, a lady hailed his taxi. He stopped. He was furious why the lady took sometime to board his taxi. He turned around and saw that the lady made a ‘tawaf’(walking round and round the taxi)!

Suddenly, when the lady was near him, he took a look at the lady’s face. She looked like a ‘Singh’. But….when my uncle looked at her body, he saw something terrified him!! Tha lady’s stomach was FULL of blood and worms!!!!Without hesitation, he DROVE as fast as he could.

When he returned home the next morning, he told his family. A week later when we had a family gathering, his wife(my aunt) told us about the incident. Her conclusion might be because that ‘Singh’ lady might caught in an accident while working in one of the factories there. I was very scared because I live NEAR GAMBAS AVENUE! For a week I could not have peace of mind and often thought of the ‘ghost story’. That made me returned home as early as 9pm!

The queston is : WHY MUST THE LADY IN WHITE ‘TAWAF’ around my uncle’s taxi and WHY doesnt her FACE turned UGLY?? Furthermore, there is a new condominium built along that road. Her existence would scared all the residents in that area!

NCC Spec Course

I heard this from my NCOs. They told me they themselves witnessed it and some other Part D cadets(esp, the female cadets) also experience this. So, I guess what I’m going to say is true…

It was around mid june last year and my current batch of NCOs were going for their Specialist Course at Sembawang base. In one of the nights, something happened in the girls’ bunk. It couldn’t have been a prank since no one(except female CLTs or female COs) was allowed to be near the girls’ bunk. You see, all of the cadets were sleeping in the barracks and the beds were all double decker. In the middle of the night, while everyone was sound asleep, 2 of the girls who were sleeping on the upper deck fell to the ground. Moreover, their bed were beside one another…

Their fall created a stir that woke the whole bunk up. When the lights in the barracks were swtiched on, all of the girls saw a baby-like figure on the bed belonging to one of the girls who fell. The figure was grinning at them. All of them felt the creeps and there was a chilling feeling in the air. They noticed that there was a unique sign on the figure’s forehead. Soon, the figure vanished. The girls decided to keep quiet about this.

On the next day, every cadets were supposed to clean their barracks to prepare themselves for bunk inspection. In the girls’ bunk, the lockers were chained together. The girls (the same ones who fell earlier on that night) decided to request the COs to unlock the chains so that they could clean the back of their lockers. When the chain was unlocked, they discovered something that they would not forget… There was a pair of cuffs that was chained to the wall (it’s the device that was used to chain captives to the walls during WW 2 so that physical totures could be carried out).

What’s worse? There was a pair of bones on the cuffs! It couldn’t be mistaken. It’s really a pair of human bones! It was said that the bones and cuffs were left behind after WW 2 and no one actually found that out! Was it possible?

The girls and the CO also noticed a unique sign on the back of the cupboard. It was the sign that was on the baby’s forehead!

What did they see exactly? Was it a coincidence? What about the bones and the baby the girls saw? Guess it for yourselves…

Haunted Schools 1

Loyang Secondary School. It was rumoured that in the 4th floor girl’s toilet at the old block, it is haunted and that is why the lights are kept on for 24 hours. Those students who had helped out in the AVA room claimed to see a lady walking along the backstage.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic was rumoured to have a girl student died in one of the engineering workshop because her hair got stucked in some machine and screams can be heard from the workshop at night.

Tampines Secondary School was said to be haunted by the spirit of a girl whom was raped by construction workers during its construction days in the 1980s.

Hai Sing Secondary School had a mother Mary there whose statue will drip blood.

CHIJ Saint Josept Convent had rumours about why a cubicle is always locked. It was said that a girl was waiting for her parents to fetch her one day while she got raped and thereafter hanged herself in one of the toilet.

Pei Dao Secondary School was famous for the smacking and hitting noise at night in the basketball court. The music room was also rumoured to be haunted with a piano playing by itself every night at 12am sharp.

Pasir Ris Crest had an indian construction worker committed suicide in the toilet in its construction days. It was rumoured that the toilet was locked eversince after students complained about seeing a man stabbing himself repeatedly in the stomach.

Queenstown Secondary School was famous for the tomb stone that was found in the field by students.

Bedok View Secondary School had a toilet next to the bio lab on the ground floor haunted by a long haired ghost obsessed with combing her hair infront of the mirror. A few girls went into the toilet and ran out screaming and crying while it was rumoured the principal went inside the toilet to scold the ghost.

Yuying Secondary had its teachers and principals seeing silhouettes of children running around the school compound when worked late. It was said that when the school was doing its upgrading work, construction workers quitted one by one after witnessing strange occurrences.

Gan Eng Seng Secondary School had its 4th storey Ary Class haunted to the point of the teachers wouldn’t dare to enter the room alone. The rooftop of the building was rumoured to live a singing lady whose voice could be heard in an art classroom.

Singapore Polytechnics had T1,T2,T3…..but no T13. A student committed suicide at one of the teaching block’s toilet after stabbing the lecturer ( the lecturer died too). Screams can bea heard at night when part time students were having classes.

Haig Girls Secondary School used to be a place to hold POWs during WWII. There is an area within the school compound which has more than usual rate of accidents occuring. It seems many people would trip and fall while walking along the compound. Was rumoured that walking across the field diagonally cutting across field at night, you will be greeted by an old woman asking you to buy matchsticks from her.

Meiling Seconary School has a railway track behind its building. The school was moved to a temporary building they were building a new one. A broken hand was rumoured to be crawling somewhere in the technical lab from a student whose hand was saw off during lesson and bleed to death. At the old school in Bukit Merah, the toilet on the 5th floor was locked because it was haunted by a girl who hanged herself in the toilet.

Boonlay Secondary School had a pond in the middle of a science block with classes. It was said that if one look at the pond at night, there will be a strange face that will surface out of it.

Temasek Polytechnic was rumoured to have an indian worker binding wire inside a pillar but a colleague pour cement inside the pillar burying him in the process and they only found out when the whole building was almost completed. It was rumoured that the body is still inside the pillar which is believed to be somewhere in Block 18.

ACS was rumoured to be haunted by a boy who jumped into the gears in the gear room of the clock tower. Students being possessed were common in the school.

In Temasek Polytechnic, Engine block corridors from Block 18 were so haunted that guards wouldn’t patrol that area. A famous story told by a guard was he saw a student at a locker as he was patrolling and as he make an U turn few minutes later, he found a piece of newspaper on the floor with that student’s face he just saw. Only problem is that student was killed by a sports car at the bus stop few months back.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic was rumoured to be built on burial ground. The slopes and hilly grounds is an indication of bunkers underneath.

Clementi Town Secondary School had its Home Econs and Science Lab haunted by a ghost whose head roll on the floor.

Tanjong Katong Secondary were said to be haunted at its studio. Band members staying the night were always disturbed while sleeping.
